The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.

Dr. Alex Gorenshtein

Dr. Alex Gorenshtein is a native of Cleveland, OH.  He received his undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH to receive his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.  His first year Surgical Preceptorship began at the NY College of Podiatric Medicine and he continued with his residency in Podiatric Orthopedics was at the West Roxbury, VAMC in Massachusetts.  He is board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery as of 1994, and holds Podiatric Medical Licenses in both Virginia and West Virginia.  Dr. Gorenshtein holds professional memberships at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association (Virginia). He resides in Purcellville, VA with his wife and two children.

Dr. Christen L. Lonas

Dr. Christen L. Lonas received her Bachelors of Science Biology and Science Psychology at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA.  She then received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL where she was a member of the Durlacher National Podiatry Honor Society, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Association of Women Podiatrists.  Dr. Lonas Completed her Podiatric Surgical Residency (PSR-12) at the Geneys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI.  She currently holds a professional Podiatric Medical License in both Virginia and West Virginia.  In 2004 she became Board Certified in Forefoot Surgery.  She has attended multiple conferences throughout her career including the 2008 Diabetes Care Conference and participated in the 15th Annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Conference.  Dr. Lonas enjoys going to the gym, reading and spending quality time with her husband, Timothy, and her 11 Cockatiels.

Dr. Roland S. Ramdass

Dr. Roland S. Ramdass completed his undergrad at The City University of New York in Jamaica, NY where he received his Bachelor of Science.  He continued his studies, obtaining his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  He completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency (PM&S/Chief Resident) at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2005 and in 2008 was Board Certified in Forefoot Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstructive and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.  Dr. Ramdass holds professional memberships holds memberships at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association.  He holds a Podiatric Medical License in both Virginia and West Virginia.  Dr. Ramdass lives in Virginia with his wife and three children.

Dr. Tiomara Paylor

Dr. Tiomara Paylor is a native of New York City, NY.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida A7M University and continued her studies at the School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami Shores, FL to later earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.  Then to complete her Podiatric Surgical Residency, Dr. Paylor attended St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL and Virtua Health Systems in Camden, NJ.  Her volunteer experience includes participation in the Jamaica Medical Mission in 2003 and 2004 and participation in Health Fairs and Community OutReach Programs-Foot Screenings from 2006-2008 and 2011-present.  Dr. Paylor holds a Podiatric Medical License in both Virginia and West Virginia.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, spinning and traveling.
